The Centre for Christian Missions
was founded in June of 2000 by American missionary, Bonnie Lou Dolan. CCM began its five-fold vision by establishing CCM Bible College in Ndola, Zambia. The College met at 8 Misundu Road in Northrise in a rented home. Seventeen students graduated with a Certificate of Theology or Diploma of Theology in December of
2002.
In late 2002 the College moved to Kitwe where it began the construction of its new campus facilities and planned for the opening of its new four-year Bachelor of Theology Degree programme. Sixteen students opened the new Degree programme in January of 2004 and one year later a one-year Certificate, two-year Diploma of Theology, and three-year Bachelor of Arts Degree were added.
Today the College offers day school studies at the Kitwe Campus and correspondence studies through its Distance Learning Programme. Over 140 students are currently being equipped for Christian living and ministry at CCM Bible College. The College has trained and experienced faculty and received its accreditation in 2004 with the Association of Independent Christian Colleges and Seminaries (AICCS) in Missouri in the United States. The College library have over 10,000 resources for study and research and a modern computer laboratory. Grace Hall, the Campus’ first building, was completed in July of 2006 and now serves as the home of both CCM Bible College and CCM Trust School. Grace Hall, also known as the Bennett Ndelemeti Building, was dedicated in September of 2006 to the glory of God in honour of Mr. Bennett Ndelemeti. Mr. Ndelemeti has been honoured and recognized for his significant achievements in the continued founding and development of CCM’s vision and currently serves as the College Principal and Supervisor of the Campus Building Project.

CCM Trust School opened on January 15, 2007 with 57 students. The school currently offers education for children between the ages of 2 and 5 years (pre-school and reception). Future plans are underway to add the primary grades (grade 1 to 8), one grade per year, over the next eight years. The school is operated at international standards and offers quality general and Christian education, including French, Computer, and Music classes, along with a wide variety of other subjects. CCM Trust School was founded by missionary Bonnie Lou Dolan and is led by Headmistress Janet Silumesii and other members of staff.

CCM has always been concerned about the underprivileged of society. Compassion Ministries was launched to help meet some of the felt needs of the African people. CCM’s Compassion Ministries has donated school desks and school supplies to a community school, shoes to orphans, has provided educational scholarships to children and adults, and has conducted an eye care clinic, giving
free spectacles to those with visionary problems. All of this has been done free of charge and in the love and spirit of giving modeled by our Lord Jesus Christ.
The vision of CCM continues to grow. Plans are underway to publicly launch CCM’s Missionary Society in 2008 when we administrate a short term mission trip. CCM Theological Seminary is projected to open in 2010 with a Master of Arts in theology, offering graduate level studies in theology to the Zambian and African Christian community. CCM’s second campus building is being erected to provide the needed space for the enlarging vision. The second building will serve as the future home of CCM Bible College and Seminary while Grace Hall, our first campus building, will service CCM Trust School.
CCM’s near and distant future looks bright as we continue our efforts of engaging in evangelism, disciple making, and social action ministries, doing our part to fulfil the Great Commission of our glorious Lord Jesus Christ.
